Why Can't I Select the Text on my Web Page

I have some css issues as I tried to select a part of the content from the web page but it is getting selected as whole page. On a single click it gets selected and somehow i can’t select the part i want to be. I am guessing it is a css issue but have no clue to prove it. If you know the reason then please help me.
