First time setup®ister of new laptop. Can''t get on-screen instructions

Took it out of the box and tinkered with it before I read anything! Now I can’t seem to get the guide for initial setup and registration to come up on the screen. I tried turning it off and then on but can’t get the window to come up.

Should I buy a Adapter for HP Laptop Manufactured by Other Companies

My adapter is burned, I am looking for a adapter to buy but HP costs a lot compared to other brands, i was thinking to buy one from other company. What you suggest, i checked the requirements and it is all compatible but i am scarred, please suggest me what to do now.
