How can I Truncate my Database Log to Reduce the Size

I am using a MS SQL Server 2005 Express edition and i have very little space given from my shared server company. I am getting filled with the log when i data export or import so i want to sink the log file as soon as i export or import data so that my website should work as usual. If you know a way then please suggest me.
