Is ASP.NET 2.0 easier to learn than ASP.NET 1.0?

I found a problem while studying a .net book, if I am a beginner and starting to write codes than what will be the easiest path for me to learn? Is that I should learn ASP.NET 1.0 before studying asp.net 2.0? Will it make any difference in my learning curve?
